Self Portrait in a reduced Palette

oil on canvas 30 x 20cm

It's good practice every so often to do a self portrait, its keeps your
hand and eye sharp and of course it's a low cost model also. I kept the
palette small, mainly Burnt Umber and Burnt Sienna with just a touch of
Alizarin crimson and Naples yellow. I have heard that using too much yellow
on the portrait can make the subject look unwell, mind you, with the amount
of Burnt Sienna I have used, I look like I have quite a tan :)

Thanks for looking :)
