Portraits in pencil..

These were done using minen leads HB and 6B. The first also has a layer of the oil pitt pencil I have spoken of before. You can see the difference in tone in it, in comparison to the second. You have to be careful with the oil pitt of course because once it is laid down there's no removing it, whereas when you are using minen lead only, there is plenty of opportunity for adjustment later.
